EL-BONG physics has agreed in conjunction with the various institutions that make up it, to promote the search for excellence, incorporating new practices in the midst of an open and diversity-respecting science. Our guidelines promote ongoing discussion to build a community of scientists in line with high demands around the production of knowledge.
Code of conduct
Those who are part of our community are united by a commitment to study, teach and do scientific research, with the highest professional and personal standards. Our standards seek to foster positive, open, safe and professional learning environments.

We rely on a committee to discuss and make decisions in the event of a code of conduct breach.
Diversity plan
We have a diversity plan focused on promoting equal opportunities, recognizing the cultural richness of the countries that are part of the consortium, avoiding discrimination and devising actions to support vulnerable minorities in accessing scientific knowledge. We promote gender equality and the appreciation of diversity — religious, sexual, ideological, cultural, socioeconomic — in the people potentially involved with our activities.
Open education policy
Open access to our contents is an obligation that bonds all the members of LA-CoNGA physics. Our project follows the FAIR principles for scientific data management (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable). In this sense, we are committed to release most of the content generated in our experience for its use, reuse and distribution in interoperable and secure environments. This is not an easy task, because the number of resources generated is heterogeneous, but our data management plan serves as a guide to define licenses for the use and distribution of the material associated with LA-CoNGA physics.
Manual of visual identity
The visual identity of EL-BONG physics is a reflection of the multicultural nature of the project and its commitment to open science and international collaboration. This manual sets the guidelines for the correct use of logo, typography, colors and other graphic elements in various media.

Data processing policy
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the web, we collect the data shown on the feedback form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymous string created from your email address (also called hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After the approval of your comment, the image of your profile is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the web, you should avoid uploading images with location data (GPS EXIF) included. Web visitors can download and extract any location data from the web images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you don’t have to refill your data when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and log in to this site, we will install a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is deleted when closing the browser.
When you access, we will also install several cookies to save your access information and your screen display options. Access cookies last two days, and the screen options cookies last a year. If you select Remember Me, your access will last for two weeks. If you leave your account, the access cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or post an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data and simply indicates the article ID that you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Encrusted content of other websites

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long do we keep your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognise and approve successive comments, rather than keep them in a moderation queue.
Of the users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Web administrators can also view and edit that information.
What rights do you have about your data
If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we have about you, including any data you have provided us. You can also request that we remove any personal data we have about you. This does not include any data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
